One Change at a Time

As I reflect on completing my first book after a year and a half of hard work, I can’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment and gratefulness. It’s feels like I’m submitting a final paper for class. I am grateful for the early mornings and gradual progress that have led to something I am proud to share with the world.
Root is a 30-page paper about developing self awareness. Throughout the writing process, I explored various methods of self-awareness, learning, practicing, and writing about them. This journey taught me patience and forced me to change my habits to accommodate the project, ultimately shaping my every day life one bit at a time. One change at a time.
At its core, Root is an attempt to answer the age-old question of the meaning of life. I’ve learned that it all starts from within and that we hold the key to our own happiness and fulfillment. While I do believe there are external factors and altered states that can influence, I believe that self-awareness is the foundation of a fulfilling life. Root is an exploration of this concept and an invitation to others to join me on this journey towards greater self-awareness and balance.
